A scaffold alarm system helps to protect your construction site by notifying you of any intruders on the site. During large construction projects, it is impossible to dismantle all of your equipment and take it home for the night. As such, scaffold alarms act as a necessary defence that protects the properties and your assets.
Scaffold alarms use an infrared sensor to detect heat or movement on the premises. If there is an intruder, an alarm will sound with strobe lighting - to act as a deterrent - while you are notified of the sensor being triggered. In some cases, scaffold alarms can also be linked to any CCTV that you have on site. The alarm can be set at the end of each working day through use of a keypad, and can then be disarmed each morning using the same keypad.
